Had a lovely time in the lake district.  The Hayloft was a perfect base for some spectacular views, we'd definitely recommend a stroll up Blencathra,  challenging but definitely worth the effort.

What a fantastic place to celebrate a 25th birthday.  The Hayloft was a lovely place to stay - very warm and cosy when it was cold outside.  Will definitely recommend it to friends and family and will be sure to come back ourselves.

Warm and cosy with all 'mod cons'.  Weather pretty good - no rain, but a bit cold outside.  Will return when we can!

A lovely clean and cosy base to explore the northern end of the lake district.

Well worth the two hour Google search it took to find The Hayloft.  Lovely accommodation and a great base for touring the Northern Lakes and the Solway Coast.

The Hayloft has been the perfect place to stay - spotlessly clean, everything we could possibly have wanted to hand and complete privacy unless we chose otherwise.

A wonderful week and some great walking in amazingly good weather.  We loved the accommodation - really comfortable and in a lovely setting.

We were delighted upon arriving at The Hayloft.  The pictures on the internet and in the brochure do not do it justice.

A great location set in a wonderful part of the lakes.  Solitude on the fells easily obtainable.  In fact this is what the central lakes used to be like when we first started coming here in the mid 1960's.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Hayloft which was recommended to us by a friend 10/10.

We have has a totally excellent honeymoon here, despite the changeable weather.  We settled in immediately and felt The Hayloft to be a 'home from home'.

I think we have been here every year since our honeymoon five years ago.  It has been a wonderful retreat - as always.  Thanks again for creating such a nice space.

Thank you for a brilliant weekend!  The Hayloft is even better that we expected and soon feels like home from home. This has been a very memorable weekend for us as ****** proposed to me up Skiddaw on Saturday.  The accommodation has provided the cosy romantic retreat we had hoped for.

Beautiful place, gorgeous scenery.  Hopefully we can come back again soon.  Do not want to come home.
