This has been our first visit to the Lake District and we've had a fabulous time!  The cottage was wonderfully clean and smelt fresh when we arrived.  The logs, coal and milk were thoughtful finishing touches, as was making up the extra single bed in case I needed to stay with my son initially.

What a lovely cottage (dog friendly and clean too!)  Really enjoyed our stay, did some lovely walks.  This is a very special place, all your hard work has created a beautiful place for all to enjoy.

A very pleasant stay in a wonder cottage, and superb surroundings.  The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and with great facilities.  Hopefully we can return in the future.  Many thanks.

We have very much enjoyed our stay at your cottage.  It was nice to feel so warm even though the temperature went down to minus nine degrees at night.

This is our first Valentine's Day together and we couldn't of picked a nicer place.  We would like to come back in the Summer.

Many thanks to you both for such a welcoming stay.  It's been a perfect cottage for us - especially with our 12 week old Labrador puppy who had a fantastic time with Rosie and in the fields and gardens.

Having read most entries in this visitors book, I am finding it hard to write anything original!  Everything has been wonderful.  Have done some lovely walks in glorious sunshine.

Lovely memories to take home of our beautiful daughter enjoying the lakes on the first holiday she will remember.  Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting.  Once again enjoyed the real fire.  Thank you for making our stay so special, you are such charming hosts it's just like returning home.
