The Backstreet Boys could be renamed the Back-stab Boys, as intragroup squabbles threaten to disband the quintet. The all-grown-up boy band just parted ways with its management company, the Firm, because "they were annoyed that their last album flopped, and had to blame someone." But the rest of the Boys, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean, were shocked when bandmate Nick Carter rehired the Firm to represent his solo career. "Nick is coming out with a solo album in August, about a month before the Backstreet Boys' next album. The group is furious," our source said. Carter - the first in the group to break away and record solo - told the London Sun, "I'm really psyched [for the solo project] and want to do something different by myself." Carter just bought a power boat racing team and an offshore racing boat that his father will drive, pals said, leaving him little time for the band. "There's a lot of infighting with the Boys - and between that and [McLean's] rehab, there's not much left," we hear.

Rosie Returns as Nick Kids' Choice Host
    By: Susanne Ault

Rosie O'Donnell will return for her sixth headlining gig at the 15th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards April 20.
O'Donnell will likely continue her hosting stint on the popular kudocast -- airing live this year from Santa Monica's Barker Hangar -- even after she leaves her talk show this May. A Nick spokesman said the cable channel should "continue to have an ongoing relationship with Rosie" after this season, since she is a "longtime friend of Nick."
This year's kiddie favorites mirror what most of the country seems to like, with box office hit "Shrek" and ratings champ "Friends" leading the nominations. "Shrek" is up for five awards, including best movie and book. "Friends," with four nods, will battle it out in the TV show, TV actor (Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry) and TV actress (Jennifer Aniston) categories.
Other nominees include "Dr. Dolittle 2," "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Rush Hour 2" for picture; "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Lizzie McGuire" and "7th Heaven" for TV series; and the Backstreet Boys, Destiny's Child, Dream and 'N Sync for singing group.
